The Metropolitan Golf Club is offering a number of Junior Golf Scholarships to assist junior golf development in Victoria. In the past 16 years, 200 scholarships have been awarded and many of the recipients have gone on to become members of Metropolitan. This includes LPGA star and Olympian Su Oh, and Asian Tour Myanmar Open champion Todd Sinnott.
The Scholarship Program generally runs from July to June annually, however the 2024/2025 Program has paused for reassessment.
General Information
Junior Golf Scholarships at Metropolitan provide for complimentary use of the course and facilities of the Club for 12 months and an organised golf skills program provided by the Club’s PGA-qualified staff, including Stuart Leong (Australian PGA Teacher of the Year 2015) for applicants between the ages 12 years and 16 years inclusive at the start of the program.
Selection criteria –
